Job Summary
The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice in the College of Liberal Arts, the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for a non tenure-track position at the rank of Senior Lecturer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in forensic science and engaging in service to the department, university, and discipline.
Required Qualifications
A MA in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field is required. A JD will be considered with considerable training in Forensic Science. Candidates must have a teaching background in Forensic Science and/or Crime Scene Investigation and Technology, including the ability to teach lab-based courses, offered via our minor in Forensic Science/Crime Scene Technology.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants with teaching or research related to one or more of the following: forensic DNA analysis, trace evidence evaluation, forensic microscopy, impression evidence, forensic firearms evaluation, forensic chemistry/toxicology, and document examination, death investigation, or related forensic discipline(s); record of scholarly activity and/or work experience in areas applicable to forensic science, including publications and/or external grant activity. Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
