- Manage recruiting efforts including initiating requisitions, conducting interviews when needed, and any necessary pre-employment processes.
- Provide coaching and support to the organization's employees and managers on human resource related issues like performance management, employee relations, performance improvement plans, conflict resolution, career development discussions, etc.
- Responsible for time & attendance and payroll administration.
- Assist with HR and company reports & requests.
- Assist with Leave of Absence and Workers Compensation administration and questions.
- Communicate and help to implement and/or maintain consistent HR policies and procedures.
- Lead the new hire onboarding process.
- Enable effective movement of internal talent by focusing on continuously improving the experience associated with the internal candidate process.
- Responsible for the maintenance of employees electronic/non-electronic files and manage all employee data changes through our HRIS system.
- Assist with special projects and other support as needed.
- 2 years or more of prior HR experience with a preference for experience in a prior HR generalist role.

- Able to work independently, set daily priorities and should have excellent time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of professionalism required and comfort level working with all levels of employees in a fast paced and change oriented environment.
- Ability to influence and negotiate with supervisors and managers.
- Demonstrated focus on customer service is critical.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skill set with advanced skills in all Microsoft Suite systems including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be flexible to work an off shift or split shift to provide Human Resources coverage for night shift operations.
- Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach and grasp for varying periods of time during working hours.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources, preferred.
- PHR or SHRM-CP or higher, preferred.
- Experience using HRIS systems, SAP HCM module, Taleo, or Salesforce preferred.
- Previous experience with a Time and Attendance System, preferably Workforce, is desired.
