- Conduct engaging training sessions on maintaining, repairing, and operating our mechanical and electrical equipment for customers and internal technicians.
- Create and enhance training materials, including presentations, manuals, and hands-on activities.
- Travel to customer locations and internal offices for training sessions, usually from Monday to Friday.
- Collaborate with fellow trainers and subject matter experts to uphold consistent and high-quality training content.
- Offer guidance and support to technicians and customers to aid in their skill and knowledge development.
- Participate in crafting online training materials like videos and content for the learning management system (LMS).
- Keep abreast of industry trends and technologies to ensure training relevance and effectiveness.
- Sound mechanical and electrical skills, with practical experience in troubleshooting and fixing equipment.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities to effectively educate a diverse audience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe PDF.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively (75-85%) and adapt to flexible schedules as per business requirements.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving history.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Prior background as a technical trainer, field service technician, or similar role.
- Experience in the food and beverage sector, encompassing cheese, bakery, meat, or pet food industries.
- Knowledge of industrial environments like manufacturing or production settings.
- Familiarity with video editing and audio/video tools.
- Military background focusing on training and leadership.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Starting competitive hourly pay of $40 per hour, with annual performance-based raises.

About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and technically savvy Training Specialist to join our team in Cypress, California. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in mechanical and electrical systems, coupled with a genuine interest in educating and guiding others. In this role, you'll be hitting the road quite a bit (75-85% of the time) to provide training sessions to both customers and internal technicians along the West Coast (California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho).
