Candidates will be considered for an Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor rank commensurate with their education and experience. This is an academic year appointment, renewable subject to enrollment needs, availability of funding, and performance. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in mechanical engineering design. The appointment begins in August 2024.Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. Duties and Responsibilities: The responsibilities include serving as the primary instructor and course coordinator for our senior capstone design course sequence, teaching an exciting and relevant design-based class to accompany the capstone experience, enhancing the capstone design experience by attracting industry driven projects, teaching design-based classes, and working with other faculty to integrate design content throughout our curriculum. Other responsibilities include mentoring and advising undergraduate students, service to the department and college, and developing new pedagogical methods. Minimum Qualifications:
