    Summary

    JOB OVERVIEW: Join our team as a Team Leader in the perioperative department. In this role, you will showcase your expertise in evidence-based practice, serving as a valuable resource, preceptor, and role model for the team. Your responsibilities will include coordinating activities within the surgical specialty service, ensuring the smooth flow of surgical procedures, and managing inventory needs. Moreover, you will play a vital role in advising, mentoring, and evaluating other team members.

    *This Team Leader will have a primary focus on the Vascular/Thoracic, Pulmonary Endoscopy/Surgical Oncology service line.*

    SURGICAL SERVICES HIGHLIGHTS:

    • 22 Operating Room Suites
    • Specialties: Trauma, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, ENT, Colorectal, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Oral/Dental, Laparoscopic Procedures, Orthopedics, Urology, Ophthalmology, GYN, General

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum of 2 years of RN Operating Room experience
    • Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
    • Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) Registered Nursing license
    • American Heart Association BLS Certification
    • ACLS and PALS preferred
    • CAPA/CPAN required for Preop/PACU or obtain within 12 months
    • CNOR required/obtain within 12 months of hire
