    With a rich heritage rooted in culinary tradition, our client remains dedicated to crafting delicious Mexican-inspired dishes that delight taste buds nationwide.

    As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), your primary responsibility will be implementing the company's financial strategy. This entails devising growth plans to enhance profitability and streamline expenditures company-wide. You will pinpoint potential investment prospects and oversee mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, you will collaborate with the CEO to formulate financial strategies that propel the business forward. As head of accounting procedures, you must maintain the company's financial integrity.

    To thrive, you should have:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred

    Demonstrated track record as a Chief Financial Officer or in a relevant position

    Experience collaborating with legal counsel on corporate and HR matters

    Advanced proficiency in data analysis and forecasting techniques

    Skilled in MS Office and financial management software (e.g., NAV Dynamics or other ERP platforms)

    Strategic problem-solving capabilities

    Exceptional leadership and organizational abilities

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    Analytical mindset with comfort working with numbers

    CPA designation is highly advantageous

    Your responsibilities as the CFO will include:

    Identify and assist departmental managers to identify and secure savings across all cost centers in the company.

    Create annual budgets with department heads.

    Create a GAAP-compliant accounting structure that is maintained every month.

    Provide monthly operational reporting to the organization to include labor reporting, purchase price variance, sales and marketing expenses, storage and handling, and transportation expenses

    Produce monthly financials that a public audit firm validates annually.

    Set up and oversee the company's finance IT system.

    Prepare all necessary MDA analyses, including COGS, LABOR, G&A, Sales and Marketing, And Operational Budgeting.

    Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization's operations.

    Control, evaluate, and recommend optimum fundraising plans and capital structure

    Supervise all finance personnel (controllers, AP/AR fixed assets, etc.)

    Ensure compliance with the law and the company's policies.

    Manage and help control all financial aspects of the organization.

    Performing risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments

    Manage vendor relationships.
