Help us with the modernization and maintenance of our rail network, infrastructure, and challenging projects.We are currently looking for a Director of Track Maintenance (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at our location in Hannover.
Your responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for planning and ensuring cost-effective, timely, and high-quality track maintenance
- You will also supervise and conduct quality control at operational sites in the Northern region
- You will lead and manage a team of approximately 30 employees in track maintenance, including both operational and academic staff
- You will be responsible for managing resources, including personnel, materials, machinery, equipment, and procurement services
- You will oversee material and resource management for various sites and construction projects
- You will act as a point of contact for competitive bidding for construction services
- You will coordinate process optimizations and project preparation and execution for drainage projects in collaboration with project engineers from the Northern plant renovation team
- You have a degree in civil engineering or a similar field, or equivalent experience
- You have (some) experience in managing employees and in the infrastructure or construction industry
