    POSITION PURPOSE / SUMMARY STATEMENT (defines the major functions/purpose of the position):

    This position will be responsible for communicating with all AAC departments and collecting and reviewing financial information. The Sr. analyst will review the financial consolidation process into AAC financial packages for (1) Monthly Reports (2) Quarterly Reports (3) Budget (4) Forecast (5) Day 2 Sales Report. In addition, the Sr. analyst will lead the annual operating budget process, quarterly forecasts, income statement consolidation and reporting, volume and margin analysis, and SG&A spending analysis. The Sr. analyst must demonstrate strong business acumen, presentation skills, and leadership ability.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (include titles of positions directly reporting to this position):

    • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
    ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
    • Interacts with all levels throughout organization including employees and outside vendors.
    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of all financial reports including Management Deck, Monthly Reporting Package, Financial Plan, and Forecasts.
    • Lead the process to implement new SG&A Planning and Reporting Tools.
    • Support the development of presentations for Global Stategy and Manifesto Meetings.
    • Analyze Actual vs Budget Vs Forecast vs PY variances for all trial balance accounts.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to enhance AAC's financial reporting workflow.
    • Communicate with cost center managers and sales planning teams to improve the accuracy and efficiency of reporting.
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
    • Strong knowledge of US GAAP (IFRS a plus), internal controls and financial reporting, required. Use of SAP (or another similar integrated ERP system) is desirable.
    • Modern accounting, cost accounting, and financial concepts. Strong Excel spreadsheet and database skills
    • Some travel throughout the domestic United States and Internationally
    • Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary.
    • Strong knowledge of implementing a new reporting tool and system
    • Ability to communicate and support Company policies and decisions in a positive manner.
    • Ability to build strong relationships with functional leaders across the organization to recommend and implement solutions to company issues.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
    • 3 to 5 years' experience in Accounting and/or Finance, through public/private accounting/auditing firm (Big 4 a plus)
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance or equivalent work experience.
    • SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) experience preferred.
    • Computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Microsoft Applications such as Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, etc. a plus
    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
    • Certified Public Accountant Preferred
