Environmental Officer on Board (M/F/d) in Serenada, TX

Your Responsibilities:

As an Environmental Officer on board, you will ensure that the ships of Costa Crociere and AIDA Cruises, operated by Carnival Maritime, comply with all environmental regulations and standards.
You will conduct trainings on environmental compliance for all crew members and new Environmental Officers.
It will be your responsibility to maintain accurate and complete environmental records on board.
You will ensure proper segregation of all types of waste, including liquid and solid waste.
Regular rounds will be conducted by you, including in Engine Spaces, Garbage Handling, and food preparation areas.

Your Profile:

You have a background as a Marine Engineering Officer with a 2nd Engineer rank or higher, holding an STCW A-III/2 certificate of competency. Alternatively, you may have a background as a Deck Officer with a 1st Officer rank or equivalent, holding an STCW A-II/2 certificate of competency.
Former Navy or Coast Guard engineers with a Chief Petty Officer rank or higher are also encouraged to apply.
If you have experience operating or maintaining technical systems similar to those found on cruise ships, with at least 3 years of relevant experience and an engineering degree or higher, you may also be considered.
Candidates with an environmental science degree or higher and at least 3 years of relevant experience are also welcome to apply.
