The city of Tornesch is currently seeking a
specialist in computer science - specializing in system integration for a full-time position in the IT department (support for schools).

The position is permanent.

Your responsibilities:


  • Support for schools in the city of Tornesch
  • 1st level support: initial contact with users, hotline, immediate problem solving
  • 2nd level support: problem solving that requires more expertise and time
  • Setting up workstations: installation of PCs, laptops, tablets, etc. including peripherals
  • Mobile device management (MDM) administration and support of managed devices for schools, the school authority, and the city of Tornesch
  • Management of printers and coordination with external service providers
  • Backup of school infrastructure: updates and maintenance according to project specifications

We expect from you:


  • Completed vocational training as a specialist in computer science system integration or comparable education
