    Position Summary

    The Learning and Development Manager will lead our organization's learning initiatives and talent development programs. This role will be passionate about creating a culture of continuous learning and growth, with a strong focus on enhancing employee skills, competencies, and performance. This role requires strategic thinking, hands on experience within a manufacturing setting, creativity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization to identify learning needs and implement innovative learning solutions.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy tailored to the needs of both our manufacturing and corporate workforce, aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Design, coordinate, and facilitate training programs and workshops to address the needs of various departments and employee levels.
    • Create and deliver leadership development programs to nurture and develop the next generation of leaders within the organization.
    • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to enhance onboarding programs for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with organizational culture and values.
    • Partner with HR and managers to integrate learning and development initiatives into the performance management process, providing support and resources to enhance employee performance and development.
    • Evaluate, enhance, and manage the learning management system (LMS) and other learning technologies to support the delivery and tracking of learning initiatives.
    • Develop and implement career pathing frameworks and programs to support employee growth and advancement within the organization, providing guidance and resources for employees to identify and pursue career opportunities.
    • Conduct regular needs assessments and gap analyses to identify learning needs and opportunities for improvement, utilizing feedback from employees, managers, and organizational data.
    • Maintain and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and videos, to ensure accuracy and relevance.
    • Evaluate and manage relationships with external training vendors, consultants, and educational institutions to ensure quality and cost-effective delivery of training programs and resources.
    • Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of learning initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
    • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
    • Manage the learning and development budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize return on investment.

    Job Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Engineering, or a related field. PHR, SHRM, CPTM or related certification a plus.
    • 5+ years of experience in learning and development or talent management. CPG and/or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
    • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning technology platforms. Understanding of manufacturing settings, equipment, and safety procedures, with hands-on experience designing and delivering technical training programs.
    • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences. Outstanding communication skills required. Spanish a plus.
    • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful learning programs and initiatives. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable learning solutions. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
    • Self-motivated, personable, strong attention to detail and follow up. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a diverse workforce.

    Compensation

    $90,000 - $110,000 DOE
