- Leverage appropriate CPS/FI tools for necessary data to support success criteria development.
- Apply engineering, mathematical, scientific, and LSS principles to focused improvement from concept to implementation for related project work.
- Lead all projects to ensure projects are completed on time according to project schedule.
- Identify losses elimination priorities.
- Must be willing to work in a culture built around continuous improvement and change.
- Use PowerPoint and Excel software programs to analyze data, create standards and training materials.
- Develop strategies to enable operators to respond to out-of-control situations.
- Confer with other supervisors to help coordinate activities
- Effectively coach and train other employees. Be a mentor to upskill and train new and developing employees.
- Bachelors in Engineering. (Preferred)
- Excellent reasoning skills - ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and make conclusions.
- Experience in a food processing environment.
- Experience in Reading, analyzing and interpreting engineering type documents and drawings.
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement tools and statistical tools.
