- MS in Psychology, Social Work or related human services field.
- Current Virginia license (such as LCSW or LPC).
- Five years experience working with a relevant population
- Three years supervisory experience
- Proficiency with Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Internet research
- Experience with Harmony system (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of applicable regulations, including Medicaid, DBHDS and Human Rights
- Valid Virginia driver's license with excellent driving record

Overview
Under the direction and guidance of the Director of Clinical Services and in conjunction with the Day Treatment Director, this position is responsible for managing all clinical aspects of the Day Treatment Community Based and Day Treatment School-Based Services.
All aspects of service delivery are conducted in alignment with licensing, Medicaid, accreditation and other relevant standards.
All work is performed within a systems-based framework, in keeping with current evidenced-based models, collaboratively with and in support of other services offered by the Villa, in accordance with the highest professional ethical standards, and in alignment with the Villa's mission, values and guiding principles.
Clinical Quality Compliance & Improvement
Designs appropriate level of care and interventions for each client
Ensures clinical and case management staff are appropriately trained in selected intervention techniques
Oversees all client documentation to include clinical summaries and individualized service plans to ensure delivery of effective services to clients and their families
Demonstrates compliance with recordkeeping requirements of DMAS, DBHDS, Human Rights and COA through file and client record reviews, documentation, client outcomes and clinical continuity
Supports Villa's efforts in licensing, certification and accreditation issues
Insures active individual, family and community engagement appropriate to each client's needs to support progress across settings
Upholds quality clinical practices for children and adolescents, and their families
Follows established procedures to report incidents and suspected abuse and/or neglect
Initiates referral process when support offered through the Villa is not sufficient to meet the client's needs
Provides after-care services for discharged clients and their families as appropriate
Clinical Supervision of Staff
Provides supervision of assigned clinical staff
Works with Director of Clinical Services and Director of Day Treatment in matters of employee evaluation, training, discipline, to include hiring, scheduling, timekeeping, training, development and disciplinary action
Provides necessary leadership to insure effective use of treatment teams
Implements and coordinates delivery of effective wraparound services
Develops and delivers in-service trainings to improve staff competencies in clinical and therapeutic interventions
Clinical Program Operations
Assists in development of program goals, objectives and policies
Undertakes or assigns to credentialed clinicians all eligibility/re-eligibility assessments and intakes to ensure their timely completion
Monitors clinical activities, clinical schedule and utilization of clinical resources to insure quality standards are met
Monitors population and attendance to insure proper implementation of program budget
Strongly advocates in the community for clients served and the Villa
Participates in management and treatment team meetings, relevant community meetings and other activities that support the effective operation for the services
Works with community agencies and placing agencies through site visits, meetings, written communiqués or other appropriate means to further community understanding of Villa's services
Evaluates work processes and methods; staffing levels, qualifications and training needs; and tools, equipment, and physical resources and submits recommendations for continuous quality improvement
Assumes responsibility for own professional development including meeting all mandated standards and staying abreast of developments within the field
Ensures that staff receives training to meet mandated standards, develop their professional abilities, and prepare them for advancement opportunities
