    Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Technologist
    Location: Gastonia, NC

    Pay Range:
    USD 17.60/hr - USD 29.83/hr

    Compensation and Benefits:
    The pay range for this position, as determined by RightSourcing (a part of Magnit), is USD 17.60 to USD 29.83 per hour. However, the actual compensation package may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and specific contract terms. In addition to competitive pay, the selected candidate may be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and other applicable benefits as per company policy.

    Job Description:

    We are currently seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team in Gastonia, NC. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Perform laboratory tests and procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
    2. Prepare and analyze specimens, including blood, urine, and other bodily fluids, using various laboratory equipment and instruments.
    3. Maintain accurate records of test results, quality control data, and other laboratory documentation.
    4. Interpret test results, identify abnormalities or irregularities, and report findings to healthcare providers as necessary.
    5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and quality assurance measures.
    6. Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
    7. Participate in proficiency testing, quality improvement activities, and continuing education programs as required.
    8. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide timely and accurate laboratory services to patients.
    9. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of conduct in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
    2. Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) from a recognized accrediting agency (ASCP, AMT, AAB, etc.).
    3. Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in a clinical laboratory setting.
    4. Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and instrumentation.
    5. Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
    6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    7. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    8. Flexibility to work various shifts and schedules as needed.
