Reports to:
Director, Technology Operations We are looking for a strong leader that is passionate about trading technology & the digital asset industry.
It requires someone that not only has strong technical ability, but a strong understanding of the finance industry and trading lifecycle.
You will work closely with the product and engineering teams, as well as customers, to help build a world class regulated exchange.
Role & ResponsibilitiesPart of a 24x7 operations team responsible for service availability, operations execution, and management
Monitor system availability, latency, data integrity, capacity, and overall health
Effectively escalate service outages and drive incident management process
Track transactions throughout the trade and custody lifecycle by reviewing system logs
Respond to Helpdesk queries related to system or business queries from internal colleagues and external clients
Channel product/feature related queries to the product development teams
Post-execution for trade processing, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting functions
Identification, investigation and resolution of errors, discrepancies and queries promptly to ensure timely settlements
Reply to queries from local regulators
Experience / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above
5+ years of relevant working experience running a team with a strong technical and operational background
Prior experience in blockchain/ Crypto Exchange/ Infrastructure/ Cloud (AWS or GCP) based environment is preferred
Must be able to multitask, problem-solve and have great attention to detail
Team orientated with ability to take ownership of the operations function and prioritise effectively
Comfortable working with the Linux operating system and be able to view and interpret transaction/system logs
Analytical and able to problem solve logically
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to handle multi-party, complex issues spanning technical and business domains
