    Description

    Position Overview:

    We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team at Inova Health System as a Critical Care Nurse Coordinator. In this role, you will play a key part in coordinating and integrating critical care units across our health system, collaborating with healthcare providers, and ensuring evidence-based practices are implemented.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support coordination and integration of critical care units across Inova Health System
    • Lead critical care practice through collaboration with physicians and advanced practice providers
    • Reduce clinical variation through evaluation and implementation of evidence-based practices
    • Provide critical care expertise for the medicine service line
    • Design and lead education initiatives to support critical care
    • Develop meaningful metrics for critical care initiatives
    • Lead quality improvement projects based on identified opportunities
    • Coordinate evaluation of devices and equipment
    • Perform other assigned duties

    Requirements:

    • Master's Degree in Nursing
    • Minimum 4 years of acute care nursing experience and 1 year of quality improvement experience
    • CCRN or CCRN-K certification within 12 months of start date
    • Registered Nurse license in Virginia

The work setting is in the ICU on weekdays with the requirement to relocate to Falls Church, VA.
