Senior Project Manager, Save the Children, Nepal (August 2020 - March 2021)

Management of Malaria elimination program funded by The Global Fund and implemented by Save the Children (in Coordination with Epidemiology and Disease Control Division, Department of Health Services, Under Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal). Responsibilities included budget management, personnel management, technical assistance, strategic planning, finalization of standard operating procedures (SoPs), stakeholder meetings, collaboration with Ministry of Health and Population, proposal development, and grant management. 

Senior Surveillance and Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, Family Health International 360, Nepal (January 2019 - August 2020)

Collaboration with the Government of Nepal to establish a surveillance system, strengthen the capacity of microbiology laboratory and personnel and to analyze country-specific data to disseminate internationally through the Global Antimicrobial Surveillance System including the development of the Standard Operating protocol for performing the laboratory procedures and National Action Plan on Anti-microbial Resistance. 

Communicable Disease Epidemiologist, New Jersey Department of Health (April 2018 – December 2019)

Statistical analysis of regional epidemiology program. Prepared epidemiological curve, outbreak trends, and conducted disease epidemiology. Prepared quarterly, and annual report, data visualization, using descriptive statistics trends analysis, regression analysis, and ANOVA table. Advised local health department on upcoming public health control and improvement measures as well as technical assistance in the management of the outbreak and emergent condition as per the New Jersey rules.

HIV-AIDS Surveillance Coordinator, New Mexico Department of Health (September 2016 – April 2018)

Served as core surveillance officer and on-call epidemiologist for Infectious Disease Bureau, in September 2016.  Conducted data matching using SSDMF, NDI, NCHS and electronic HIV/AIDS reporting system (eHARS) data using Link Plus. Conducted regression analysis for care continuum among New Mexico residents. Conducted case-based surveillance, COPHI Investigation and SAS analysis. Uploaded eHARS into center for disease control and prevention (CDC) software. Prepared annual report for HIV surveillance data for New Mexico Department of Health.  Generated a hypothesis for research, developed a questionnaire, and matched data for the preparation of electronic laboratory data reports through the registered laboratory in New Mexico.

Assigned project to conduct trends analysis of emergency department use in Broward county from 2005 to 2014 by age, gender, race, source of payment, and acuity. Data were analyzed using a SPSS analysis to show the association among health insurance and demographic parameter.
