Coordinate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to provide high-quality resident care
Develop and manage budgets for the nursing department and ensure financial performance goals are met
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing programs and make recommendations for improvement
Participate in the development and implementation of strategic plans for the long term care facility
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain resident confidentiality at all times
Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and other departments within the long term care facility
Respond to emergency situations and provide leadership and direction to nursing staff as needed
Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in long term care, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field; Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and quality standards for long term care
Ability to develop and manage budgets
