What you'll do


As a Development Architect (f/m/d) at the CLM Application Management Team in Coffey, MO, you will play a crucial role in executing SAP's Cloud strategy.

You will work with cutting-edge technology to develop microservices and handle the entire development cycle, from discussing requirements with our customers to design, architecture, implementation, bug fixing, and troubleshooting.

Our work is flexible, with a mix of onsite and remote options.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with international colleagues on development projects, including:

  • Designing and developing sustainable solutions for cloud operations using a test-driven approach
  • Optimizing and simplifying existing processes and code
  • Conducting agile prototyping to determine the best solution for cloud operations
  • Developing UIs and APIs using a modeldriven approach
  • Mastering the "full stack" from UI to backend to database.

What you bring

  • Experience with Object-Oriented Programming
  • Advanced programming skills in objectoriented ABAP
  • Good knowledge of SQL
  • Familiarity with design patterns
  • Knowledge of RAP is a plus
  • Knowledge of Fiori/Fiori Elements is a plus
  • Experience with HTML5 and/or JavaScript is a plus
  • Experience with testdriven and modeldriven development is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and a customerfocused mindset
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
  • Expertise in agile development
