Located in the Willamette Valley in western Oregon, Multiport serves customers located primarily in the western U.S.Most work is performed in the office, which provides for a stable lifestyle, although there is occasional travel to customer sites.
Potential Oregonians will be glad to hear there are a number of nearby recreational activities like snow and water skiing, rock and mountain climbing, beach combing and wind surfing.

Entry-Level Technical PositionThe position involves handling assigned programming and implementation tasks while at the same time taking support calls. The most likely place to move up to from Support Technician is to Account Manager.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position will have a balance of general business experience and technical skills. Experience with a wholesale distributor is particularly valued. Technical experience should include a programming environment and an operating system, Unix, NT or NetWare. Experience with the Progress programming environment is a plus, but not required.
