Blue Sea Education is a unique company comprised of a Professional Collaborative, bringing together diverse professions such as education, psychology, social worker, behavior intervention, speech, occupational and physical therapies, and the law.

Our unique approach to education has enabled us to provide supportive services to a variety of populations.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist student in transitioning from one activity to the next
  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plan if one is in place
  • Assist and facilitate appropriate peer interactions
  • Support classroom teacher in implementing IEP (Individualized Education Program)
  • Provide positive reinforcement
  • Use strategies of ABA to provide behavior support

Requirements:


  • High School Diploma (Associates preferred)
  • Experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum/Mental health challenges are a plus
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift a student lbs
  • Ability to maneuver a wheelchair
  • Ability to assist in toileting
  • Available during school hours, Monday through Friday
  • Annual malpractice insurance
  • This is a 1099 position**_

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract


Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour
