    Description

    DEL REY Systems and Technology, Inc. is a government contractor headquartered in San Diego California. We are currently looking for a Junior Financial Analyst experienced with UNANET. This position has potential and even an expectation for growth.

    Job Description: The Junior Financial Analyst will support the corporate accounting office located in Kearny Mesa. The Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting in preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis projects. Provides analytical support for financial and business-related projects. The Financial Analyst assists in the preparation of forecasts and analysis of trends, general business conditions and other related areas. Assists in financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.

    DUTIES and RESPONSBILITIES

    • Understand balance sheets, statements and be able to post Journal Entries correctly
    • Reconcile bank statements and verify charges and credits
    • Post customer payments and review employee expense reports for accuracy
    • Maintain the vendor files within the accounting system
    • Post credit card transactions and reconcile accounts
    • Support Accounts Payable and Account Receivables
    • Ability to learn company's business systems and become an expert user of UNANET
    Requirements

    EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
    • Analytical Skills are necessary
    Nice-To-Have Qualifications:
    • An active Security Clearance
    • Well-rounded experience with UNANET
    • 2+ years of experience in defense contracting
