This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Convoy Court and remote (onsite for the first 6 months).

DESCRIPTION:

Involves developing, interpreting and implementing financial concepts for financial planning, resource planning (dollars), and control of organizational budget. May analyze and prepare recommendations for financial plans, including annual resource allocations, future requirements, and operating forecasts.


Technical leader with a high degree of knowledge in the overall field and recognized expertise in specific areas; problem-solving frequently requires analysis of unique issues / problems without precedent and / or structure.

May manage programs that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources; functions with a high degree of autonomy

Uses advanced professional concepts and organizational objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Contacts are both internal and external to the department at all levels.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Nine (9) years of related experience, education/training,
    OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus five (5) years of related experience/training

Related experience:
financial analyst or controller in health care related field; health care insurance, pharmaceutical, health sciences.

  • Demonstrated experience and advanced knowledge in finance policies, practices, and systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in order to establish and maintain professional relationships with executives, managers, clinicians and others.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Advanced Degree in business, healthcare administration or related area; and/or equivalent experience/training.
  • Knowledge of healthcare and industry trends.
  • Advanced skill in use of spreadsheet, relational database and word processing software.
  • Proven analytical skills to identify and comprehend opportunities for financial and operational improvement through data analysis and interpretation.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques.
  • Experience with special projects, performance improvements, and adhoc reports and analytics to inform strategic business decisions.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

Annual Full Pay Range:
$91,300 - $170,700 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)


Hourly Equivalent:
$ $81.75

The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.

The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
