    Position Summary:

    The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will be responsible for producing regularly scheduled, in-depth financial forecasts, assisting with strategic financial planning, and coordinating the Renewable Energy platform's budgeting analysis. As a significant member of the Finance team, this role will manage and support the following:

    1. Producing data and business intelligence-driven financial forecasting for each business unit.
    2. Providing proactive strategic support and guidance to executives during the development and ongoing execution of strategic business objectives.
    3. Orchestrating enterprise-wide budgeting, monitoring, and reporting system to ensure proper utilization of corporate resources and capital.
    4. Partnering closely with divisional leaders and other key colleagues to develop, adjust, and finalize sound business initiatives.
    5. Maintaining a strong awareness and understanding of key internal and external business drivers.
    Primary Responsibilities (Essential Duties):

    Cyclical Financial Forecasting
    • Produces a comprehensive suite of deadline-driven financial forecasts, coordinating output with key business leaders and strategic business objectives.
    • Infers intuitive projections by cross-referencing individual reports and identifying interrelated trends.
    • Proactively revises existing forecasts by applying the most up-to-date information and adjustment of business drivers.
    • Makes bold, data-driven recommendations and observations based upon the combination of business trends and market influences.
    Business Strategy Planning Support
    • Maintains a thorough understanding of current strategic business objectives and integrates knowledge into forecasts, analyses, and reports.
    • Develops project and initiative-related pro forma projections and financial evaluations.
    • Applies evolving economic, market, and related business factors into the financial segments of strategic business plans.
    Budgeting and Reporting
    • Institutes and maintains an enterprise-wide, detailed budgeting practice for the organization.
    • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets. Identifies and investigates variances to ensure accuracy and provide actionable insights to address future overages/shortages.
    • Partners with business unit leaders to devise and formalize accurate annual budgets that align with broader strategic objectives.
    Business Leader Partnerships
    • Initiates and nurtures trusting relationships with all business unit leaders.
    • Utilizes effective communication skills, including presentation and analytical reports, to provide leadership with appropriately summarized messages and updates.
    • Aptly prioritizes deliverables for a team of demanding leaders. Successfully pivots resources to meet or exceed expectations.
    Current Business Drivers Integration
    • Meets regularly with business unit leaders to exchange and apply business intelligence.
    • Monitors renewable energy market trends, influencers, and economic indicators; applies research to guidance, assumptions, and reporting.
    • Recommends revisions to key forecasts based upon unexpected economic impacts, regulatory shifts, and related business driver changes.

    Education / Experience: (an equivalent combination of education and experience required to successfully complete the primary accountabilities is indicated below)
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related
    • 6+ Years of Experience in Accounting, FP&A, or Business Analysis
    Technical Skills
      • Experience utilizing Data Visualization and Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI to gather insights
      • Knowledge of corporate finance concepts, such as capital budgeting and working capital management
      • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement)
    Work Conditions

    Environment: Office / Home Hybrid

    Applicants are required to live within a daily commutable distance from Cincinnati, OH or Fort Myers, FL.
