    Security Solutions Engineer

    What You'll Do
    REEF is looking for an all-round security generalist to join the team as a security solutions manager.

    What is expected of the role:

    • Configure security tools and services to ensure they are always running as effectively as what they can and delivering the security
    outcomes they were designed to do.


    • Improve logging capability to standardize and prioritize important events
    • Ensure better data for digital forensics and incident response cases
    • Safer change management including integrity monitoring
    • Log standardization and the development of a logging framework
    • Developing requirements and playing a critical role in chaos engineering
    • Automating repetitive functions and scripting mass changes

    What We Want from You:

    • A willingness to learn about new security tools and how to get the most out of them. Training will be provided for all tools and services.
    E.g. (IAST, DAST, SAST, SCA, EDR, AV, WAF, FW, SDP, VPN, VM, IGA, PAM, SSO, AD, MFA, DLP)


    • Knowledge on scripting and the interest to expand and grow this knowledge
    • An interest in learning about how the blue team operates and a desire to optimize and automate work in this space
    • An understanding of security frameworks, standards and where and when to apply them
    • A passion for cyber security
    • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
    • Relevant industry standard certifications preferred (i.e., CISA, CISM, CISSP, CompTIA, ISACA, ISC2, SANS Institute/GIAC, PCIP)
    • 2+ years of cyber security experience
