- To develop, lead and deliver cutting-edge research and consultancy projects in the energy flexibility space
- To build relationships with a range of industry players and support the development of LCP Delta's flexibility research activities and capabilities
- Supporting the scoping and delivery of flexibility consultancy projects (mix of large and small, usually more than one at the same time)
- Conducting in-depth research and analysis, including qualitative and quantitative methods
- Delivering reports and engaging content to our research and consultancy clients
- Input into our subscription research, supporting the shaping of the deliverables and subscriber interaction
- Providing expert insight and opinion on energy flexibility to clients and internal colleagues
- Working with other research teams as required, across topics such as modelling, heat, EVs, connected home products, electricity networks
- Delivering training in energy flexibility to a wide range of participants
- Working closely with clients and developing client relationships
- Building relationships with industry contacts on behalf of LCP Delta
- Market analysis and forecasts

- Energy demand forecasting and modelling
- Supporting clients make effective strategic decisions and innovate for competitive advantage
- Technology and Product analysis
- Electricity network operator: the impact of heat pump uptake on electricity loads and ability to manage these with demand-side flexibility and storage technologies
- Energy utility: understanding the markets for VPPs across Europe
- Energy retailer: strategic support on their potential role in flexibility markets
- A strong background and experience of working in energy flexibility
- A solid understanding of:the regulatory environment for flexibility, participation in ancillary services markets and spot wholesale markets and other revenue opportunities for flexibility, and the challenges faced by independent aggregators, retailers and regulators in developing and implementing business models and markets for flexibility
- Excellentproject management skills and experience in leading and managing teams to deliver research or consultancy projects
