    Building Automation Manager
    Blaine, MN | Direct Hire | $120k - $130k

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Building Automation Manager to lead our engineering team in designing, implementing, and maintaining building automation systems.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, particularly in the field of building automation, and possess exceptional leadership and project management skills.

    Additionally, the ideal candidate will have estimating experience or a proven track record of leading the development of proposals from plan-bid-specification scenarios, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of project lifecycle management.


    Responsibilities:


    Lead and manage a team of building automation engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to ensure the successful execution of projects.

    Oversee all aspects of building automation projects from conception to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative building automation solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.

    Serve as a subject matter expert in building automation engineering, staying abreast of emerging technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

    Ensure the quality and reliability of building automation systems through thorough testing, validation, and compliance with regulatory standards.
    Foster strong client relationships by understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
    Provide training and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities in building automation engineering.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

    Minimum of 7 years of experience in building automation engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.

    Strong technical proficiency in building automation systems
    Experience in estimating or leading the development of proposals from plan-bid-specification scenarios, showcasing proficiency in project lifecycle management.
    Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
    Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    Experience with building automation software and tools such at Niagara and Tridium
