We are looking for certified nursing professionals (m/f/d) to accompany an 8-year-old boy with epilepsy and a genetic defect to school in Helstorf (Neustadt am Rübenberge), located in Jonesborough, TN.

Working hours would be weekdays from 7am to 3:30pm.


Your profile:


  • Enjoy working with intensively caredependent adolescents and young adults
  • Empathy and reliability, sense of responsibility and social competence
  • Certified nursing professional (m/f/d), meaning a completed training as a health and pediatric nurse, nurse, pediatric nurse, or nurse
  • Independent and careful work ethic
  • Willingness for personal and professional development
  • Experience with ventilatordependent patients is preferred, but not mandatory

Your tasks:

In addition to the traditional nursing tasks, the following responsibilities await you when caring for our intensive care patients:

  • Monitoring of ventilation and vital parameters
  • Acting in emergency situations
  • Observing patients
  • Communicating with family members, patients, doctors, and therapists
  • Performing all basic and treatmentrelated nursing tasks (e.g. administering oxygen and medication, injections, suctioning, PEG care, inhalation and respiratory therapy, as well as monitoring vital signs)
