Tampa, FL. The role supports all WGI offices, and is regarded as a national role.

The SUE Market Leader will be responsible to help build a multi-million-dollar brand of excellence in the energy market, with a focus in Florida and other select markets.

This person should be highly skilled not only in developing business opportunities in the form of project sales but, also be able to facilitate internal business operations.

This person will join and inspire a team of like-minded go-getters to achieve our company vision.

An in-depth understanding of the current energy market and working relationships within the energy market are key to the success of this position.

Responsibilities:


Objectives of this role

  • Manage both existing contracts and the development of new business opportunities
  • Take a lead role in developing/scoping newbusiness proposals and presentations
  • Identify trends and customer needs, building a sales pipeline/funnel for short/medium/long term
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies
  • Motivate the operations teams working on state and local government contracts, track performance, and report metrics

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers, meet regularly with other market leaders and operations managers and stakeholders to formulate strategy
  • Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and input from various sources
  • Generate new leads, identify, contact client decisionmakers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies, and facilitate capabilities presentation logistics
  • Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
  • Support scoping and pricing with businessvalue analysis, and negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals
  • Maintain and share professional knowledge internally to WGI and at national venues through education, networking, events, and presentations.

Qualifications:

Required skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, and minimum of 15 years work experience
  • Successful track record in sales and negotiation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proficiency in Microsoft suite of programs; Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint etc.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Selfstarter with a proven ability to plan and manage oneself and supporting resources
  • Valid Driver License

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Experience with CRM software (ex: MS Dynamics, AEC360, Hubspot)
  • Ability to create and deliver SME presentations effectively
  • Project management experience and/or PMP designation
