- Daily application of cash receipts to customer accounts
- Reconciliation of cash postings to ensure accuracy
- Research and resolution of customer discrepancies, unapplied credit memos, short pays, and misapplied payments
- Follow-up with customers via calls and emails to collect payment on past due invoices
- Handling inbound calls and responding to emails in a professional manner
- Collaborating with internal departments to resolve issues and customer-related disputes
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the Accounts Receivable Department
- 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a B2B setting
- Advanced knowledge of cash application and general accounting principles
- Highly efficient, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated customer-focused behavior and relationship-building skills
