- General Ledger Management:
- Oversee and maintain the accuracy of all financial transactions.
- Month-End Close:
- Manage month-end processes for timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Handle full cycle of accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices and disburse payments.
- Manage collections from customers.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in creating budgets and financial forecasts.
- Provide variance analysis for cost control.
- Reconciliation:
- Regularly reconcile bank accounts and financial statements.
- Payroll Processing:
- Oversee payroll processes and ensure compliance.
- Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and file tax returns adhering to regulations.
- Internal Controls:
- Develop and implement internal control procedures.
- Audit Support:
- Assist CFO during annual audits.
- Fixed Assets Management:
- Maintain records of fixed assets.
- Financial Analysis:
- Conduct analysis, identify trends, and suggest improvements.
- Special Projects:
- Participate in special projects as directed.
- Supervision:
- Lead a team of accounting staff, providing mentorship and evaluations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
