Job DescriptionXFINIO has an opening for an injection molding Process Technician for its facility in White Bear Lake. The opening is for a position with hours of 8 am – 5 pm, M-F.
We recognize that there is a wide range of knowledge and experience for injection molding Processing Technicians, and we are open to interviewing all applicants with more than 4 years of experience (Process Specialist, Process Technician I, II, III, Process Engineer).
Our facilities are clean and climate controlled. XFINIO is willing to provide continuing education through RJG.
Minimum Responsibilities – Candidates must be able to perform the following:
§ Load and remove molds from injection mold presses
§ Establish injection molding operating settings for new tools
§ Set up injection molding machines based on established settings
§ Set up sprue pullers and robots based on established programs
§ Inspect molded parts and confirm conformance to specifications
§ Troubleshoot and adjust process settings as needed
§ Record process settings per quality management system
§ Provide guidance to operators
§ Maintain best in class organization and cleanliness for equipment and injection molding facilities
Advanced Responsibilities
§ Perform Design of Experiments to optimize injection molding process to yield fastest cycle times and/or improved part quality.
§ Constant and continuous improvement activities to improve productivity
§ Program sprue pullers
§ Program robots
§ Participate in customer interactions
§ Participate in tool design reviews
§ Troubleshoot equipment
