- Troubleshoot quality problems with molds, identifying root causes and performing necessary repairs.
- Conduct tooling repairs to optimize mold use, demonstrating proficiency in machining equipment.
- Utilize production monitoring systems to improve the mold preventative maintenance program and document all maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing Team to maintain mold efficiency and cavitation.
- Participate in spare part analysis and maintain inventory levels.
- Assist the Maintenance team with press and equipment maintenance.
- Support the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and adhere to safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in an Injection Molding Environment.
- Strong tooling background including close tolerance grinding, lathes, and mills.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience with hot runner systems and mold repair.
- Ability to read and interpret prints.
- Physical skills necessary for machining and mold handling.
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends.
