Description

Randstad has an opening for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a large food manufacturing facility located in Danvers, MA 1st Shift Mon-Fri 7am-5pm or 6am-4:30pm $31-$41hr based on experience. 50 hour work week with OT after 40 hours. Maintenance Mechanic job duties:

Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor system, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshoot malfunctions.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
Fabricates repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. The right candidate will have at least three years of maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry. Responsibilities

Maintenance mechanic job duties:
