Acquisition Support Specialist

Job Summary
The Contractor shall provide expertise to support all phases of OB-BP acquisition activities, to include contracts and non-contract acquisition.

Onsite
Fort Belvoir, VA
Salary Range of
$85,000 - $90,000 will be based on experience and technical interview.

Must have an
Active Secret Clearance

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Draft and/or review acquisition documents to include market research reports, statements of work, performance work statements, statements of objectives, contract data requirement lists, independent government cost estimates, determinations and findings, justifications and approvals, and proposal instructions and evaluation criteria. Documents should be of sufficient quality to require little or no rework by the COR, Program/Project Manager, and/or Contracting Office.
  • Support COR performance of contract oversight including financial tracking, deliverable tracking, and deliverable review. Financial tracking will include budget and obligation plans and execution, burn rates, unliquidated obligations, and expenditures.
  • Support the updating and maintaining of COR and program/project team acquisition files.
  • Provide expertise on federal and DoD contracting requirements, including best practices and policy changes.
  • Provide support to the program/project team and Contracting Office for sole source and competitive acquisition awards by supporting analyses of offeror capabilities, cost reasonableness and realism determinations, technical evaluations, and general proposal reviews.
  • Support and deliver internal OB training as needed, including OB-BP Action Officer training.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Must have at least f
    ive (5) years' experience supporting DoD program management, acquisition, and/or contracting.
