    EUCOM Technical Operational Regional Support

    Our customer is seeking experienced EUCOM Technical Operational Regional Support SME. This position will provide program office management Advisory and Assistance Service (A&AS) support to DTRA's Building Partner Capacity (BP) Department to strengthen allies and partners capacity to Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD). This position is located at Fort Belvoir, VA and requires a TS/SCI clearance.

    Location: Fort Belvoir, VA

    Salary Range of $165,000 - $170,000

    Responsibilities:

    The Contractor shall provide regional support for the EUCOM AOR. Support must have expertise on regional political, military, and socio-economic issues affecting Western and Eastern Europe to include Ukraine as well as the Baltics, Balkans, and Caucasus regions. The regional support should also have expertise with United Nations Security Council Resolutions related to proliferation activities, European Union policies governing counterproliferation interdiction EU institutions (such as FRONTEX and INTERPOL), National Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)EU Border Security principles, and maritime interdiction policies; knowledge of nonproliferation and counterproliferation priorities of Eastern and Southeastern European countries; and functional knowledge of CBRN WMD and experience with exercise design and conduct.

    Required Experience, Skill, and Qualifications
    • Provide expertise of regional smuggling routes, regional criminal and terrorist networks, as well as law enforcement capabilities, interoperability, and cooperative law enforcement efforts.
    • Provide technical support to PN Project Leads, including reviewing or editing project proposals/white papers.
    • Assist with the development of regional strategies and provide input into project plans.
    • Facilitate counterproliferation awareness of contemporary threats and regional trends, CWMD risk assessment assistance, international law enforcement cooperation, dissemination of technical expertise, and/or introduction to other international/interagency SMEs.
    • Participate in periodic facilitated meetings with multiple PN entities and U.S. interagency partners.
    • Assist Action Officers with preparation for ICP missions and subsequent reporting.
    • Assist OB-BP Regional Division Chiefs with long-term regional strategic planning for ICP operations.
    • Submit meeting minutes as requested (CDRL A003).
    • Support and deliver internal OB training as needed, including OB-BP Action Officer training.
    • Travel to support above tasks as needed
    • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the DoD and with other federal agencies is required.
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
    • Must have a minimum of 10 years' experience.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
