    Description


    QCELLS Enable: is the EPC entity of Qcells for large commercial, industrial, and utility scale solar markets (minimum project size 5MW). Our mission is to offer top-notch design and installation of large-scale PV and ESS systems across the US, providing end-to-end solutions. We are currently expanding and have several open positions at our Teaneck, New Jersey headquarters.

    SUMMARY

    This Sales Manager is responsible for selling Qcells' Solar EPC services to clients such as developers, facility owners, and business partners. The company's typical project size for EPC services ranges from 5MWdc to 100MWdc. The ideal candidate must have a strong track record in B2B sales with deep knowledge of the solar and EPC business. They should be able to drive opportunities to contract swiftly by collaborating with internal teams and clients. Having existing networks with potential clients or experience in the solar industry is a strong advantage. This role reports to the Head of Enable and requires commuting to the Teaneck, NJ office three times a week, with Tuesday being mandatory.
    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage the sales process from opportunity origination to contract, collaborating with internal teams such as proposal, engineering, project management, and construction.
    • Build and maintain a robust client network, generate EPC sales pipeline independently.
    • Develop and implement strategic account plans to meet business objectives.
    • Create effective differentiators and negotiation strategies, with a keen understanding of commercial and legal aspects.
    • Strategic thinking and contractual expertise to establish various agreements for long-term client partnerships.
    • Collaborate with other product sales managers across Qcells to leverage synergies and avoid conflicts.
    • Update sales pipeline status regularly, forecasting yearly order intakes monthly.
    • Analyze RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs, establishing deliverables and development schedules.
    • Formulate winning strategies with insights from clients, competitors, and the market.
    • Handle confidential information securely.
    • Perform assigned duties and special projects as directed by supervisors or company leadership.
    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical discipline or Business Administration preferred.
    • Minimum 3+ years' experience in sales/business development for EPC contracts in large C&I or utility solar/renewable construction.
    • Solid track record in successful sales, managing accounts and projects effectively.
    • Experience in the solar industry and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Strong interpersonal, analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication abilities with technical and non-technical personnel.
    • Team player with a willingness to learn and prioritize tasks efficiently.
    • Deadline-oriented and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
    • Diligent work ethic and professionalism.
