    Description

    Day to Day:
    Insight Global's client is looking for a Corporate Security Manager to join their team in Ann Arbor, MI.

    The person in this role will be responsible for development, implementation, and hands-on management of those processes and programs to enforce and monitor compliance of policies in relation to event security, travel security, and, executive protection, and physical security standards.

    In this position, you'll also serve as the SME for security risk assessments, workplace violence response and mitigation strategies, and general security response practices.



    Additional responsibilities include:

    • Developing and managing corporate security program
    • Maintaining close oversight of all travel and executive protection requirements providing pre-planning security plan information to appropriate personnel
    • Developing, implementing, managing, and evaluating policies and methods to protect personnel against harassment, threats or violence
    • Plan, direct, and coordinate security activities to safeguard company assets, employees and guests
    • Coordinate appropriate response for security incidents and respond and manage them as needed
    • Conduct physical examinations of property to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations
    • Coordinate corporate security operations or activities with public law enforcement, and other agencies
    • Monitoring crime trends and specific events in areas of interest and provide reports as needed to ensure safety of team members
    • Supervising and providing leadership to subordinate security professionals, performing activities such as hiring, background investigation, training, assigning work, and evaluating performance

    Must Haves:

    • Bachelors Degree
    * 7-10 years of experience in managing a corporate security program including: workplace threats, emergency response, and event security


    • Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing formal security processes
    • Knowledge in navigating and analyzing security risk trends
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent leadership skills
    • Must have the ability to travel 30% of the time
