- Engage with customers to understand their specific research objectives in proteomics of cell and tissue biology.
- Collaborate with researchers to develop experimental strategies that address their specific biological problems.
- Travel to client sites to deliver support and services.
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions for customers, focusing on microscopy-guided proteomics applications, sample preparation techniques, and image analysis methodologies.
- Create and update educational materials, tutorials, and application notes to support customer learning.
- Provide hands-on support for customers in implementing our unique microscopy techniques for their specific cell and tissue studies.
- Assist customers in experimental design, protocol optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Contact customers and build customer relations to help inside sales for the Sales team and support product demonstrations, workshops, and promotional activities.
- Provide feedback to the R&D team on customer needs and contribute insights for product development.
- Conduct on-site and virtual demonstrations showcasing the capabilities of our microscopy system in the context of cell and tissue biology.
- Organize and participate in workshops to highlight the applications of our technologies.
- Gather customer feedback on product performance and application needs.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of advanced microscopy solutions based on customer insights.
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in utilizing advanced microscopy techniques in cell or tissue studies.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally as a Field Application Scientist with a focus on advanced microscopy applications.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts clearly.
- Expertise in advanced microscopy techniques and image analysis.
- Ability to understand and address the unique challenges in cell and tissue biology research.
- Excellent presentation and training skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
