PhD Researcher (m/f/d) in the field of Mineralogy or equivalent
Salary group 13 TVöD
Fixed-term contract until June 30, 2026
Full-time/part-time possible

Your tasks:

Thermochemical investigations as part of the R-Rhenania project on the AshDec process with the aim of making phosphates available for plants and separating heavy metals

This includes:

Scientific research on the thermochemical AshDec process
Scientific support of a demonstration plant using the AshDec process
Expansion and optimization of the AshDec process for sewage sludge ash with higher levels of heavy metals
Analysis of own samples and samples from the consortium
Literature research
