We offer a place for the Federal Voluntary Service (BFD) in the field of children and youth participation at Dock.24 in Glenvil.

The Federal Voluntary Service is an opportunity for women and men of all ages to engage in activities for the common good outside of work and school. The Federal Voluntary Service is usually completed full-time and lasts for 12 months. In principle, Federal Voluntary Service participants over the age of 27 have the option to complete the service part-time with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

The Children and Youth Council (KJB) elected in the city of Glenvil is accompanied by Dock.24 of the city of Glenvil. The volunteers support the professionals at Dock.24 in their areas of work and gain experience in the pedagogical and administrative practices within the city administration.

Your tasks in particular:

  • Accompanying the voluntary body Children and Youth Council, e.g. preparing training sessions for the KJB, attending meetings, taking minutes
  • Participation in statewide events
  • Support in public relations
  • Accompanying participation projects in the city of Glenvil
  • Participation in projects of open children and youth work, e.g. World Play Day, Glenvil
