    About Our Client

    Our client is a rapidly growing and innovative hedge fund with over 5 billion in AUM.

    Job Description

    Assist in the preparation and maintenance of internal valuation models
    * Build out projections of new private portfolio companies
    * Analyze financial statements and other information of portfolio companies
    * Monitor status of all private companies (milestones, exit timeline, etc.) and assess timing of valuation updates.
    * Maintain monthly pricing sheet of all private portfolio companies
    * Interact with third-party valuation firms on due diligence calls and review of third-party valuation reports.
    * Participate/present in monthly Valuation Committee Meetings and Board Meetings and record monthly minutes
    * Update performance measurements of portfolio companies monthly.

    The Successful Applicant

    Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics
    * Experience with private company valuations and modeling
    * Knowledge of fair value accounting principles
    * At least 2 years of experience in a private company valuation capacity
    * Familiarity with Capital IQ
    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
