- Independently analyzing prospective and existing Borrower collateral records and financials on behalf of financial institutions and non-bank lenders.
- Assessing collateral values that secure loans to verify collateral is sufficient to support a lender's proposed structure and amounts, highlight trends and note areas of collateral weakness.
- Verify that collateral values are being reported and managed in accordance with the lender's Loan Agreement and ensure proper reporting of collateral on the borrowing base certificate
- Prepares Field Examination Reports and supporting workpapers that highlight findings and material variances found, conclusions reached, and related recommendations for improvement if necessary.
- Interfacing and building successful relationships with client and target contacts.
- Bachelor's degree in related field and current CPA license preferred
- Master's degree (e.g. MBA, MAcc, Finance) a plus
- 3-5 years of field examination and/or audit experience
- Exceptional Excel skills
