    As a Sales Associate at Rawlings, you'll get the chance to engage with a diverse range of products including gloves, bats, training equipment, and apparel.


    Overview:
    Rawlings Sales Associates offer guidance and support to customers to enhance the chances of a successful sale. You'll handle various responsibilities focused on building a welcoming atmosphere for customers. A top-notch sales advisor should be lively, sociable, and possess outstanding interpersonal skills.

    The perfect candidate will develop a comprehensive understanding of Rawlings' products and convey that knowledge to customers with a high level of enthusiasm.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Utilize various selling techniques and presentation approaches to aid customers in product selection.
    • Stay up-to-date on products and comprehend factors such as pricing structures, styles, colors, and product history.
    • Offer precise information on product specifications.
    • Drive profitable growth and meet personal and department objectives.
    • Monitor and manage merchandise on shelves.
    • Operate cash register.
    • Perform other assigned tasks.
    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and

    Education Required:

    • High school diploma/GED preferred
    • Three (3) months of experience in customer service, sales, or related fields
    • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
    • Professional and sociable demeanor
    • Proficiency in more than one language is preferred
    • Team player mindset

    Working Conditions:
    Typical retail store environment.


    LANGUAGE SKILLS
    Ability to understand written documents like safety regulations, instructions, and procedure manuals. Capability to write basic reports and correspondence. Skilled in delivering effective presentations to groups of customers or staff members within the organization.


    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
    Proficient in calculating figures and percentages. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.


    REASONING ABILITY
    Capable of using practical judgment to execute instructions provided in written, oral, or visual form. Competent in handling challenges involving multiple variables in standard situations.
