    From crafting to styling, FV revives past fashion trends with a touch of nostalgia, timelessness, and vibrant elegance.

    Frances Valentine Sales Associates play a crucial role in the sales process and customer service to support the store team in reaching sales targets. This part-time role involves working 2 days a week (excluding Sundays from June 1 through summer) for a total of approximately 16 hours, subject to change based on staff scheduling and seasonal demands starting November 1.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the team to meet sales objectives
    • Understand the brand's history and values
    • Effectively convey Frances Valentine's aesthetic and story to customers
    • Engage with customers, educating them about the brand
    • Maintain a lively and service-driven environment
    • Offer friendly and efficient service across all store areas
    • Provide product knowledge and guide customers in their purchases
    • Build and nurture customer relationships
    • Stay connected with clients during slow periods and follow up on purchases

    Operations and Merchandising:

    • Adhere to store policies and procedures
    • Proficient in Shopify POS functions for smooth checkout processes
    • Assist in handling shipments and returns
    • Participate in inventory management
    • Maintain visual displays
    • Ensure store cleanliness and organization
    • Manage customer inquiries via phone and email
    • Prepare detailed sales reports

    Qualifications:

    • Strong communication and listening skills
    • Proven sales and customer service abilities
    • Familiarity with POS systems and computer software

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum 1 year of retail experience

    Physical Requirements:

    • Extended periods of standing and walking
    • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
