- Assist the Senior Manager in executing annual member outreach and renewal activities, including tracking outreach efforts and generating status reports.
- Support the Senior Manager in the dues planning process by researching and maintaining updated company information and financial data.
- Coordinate the processing of membership applications, conducting research, managing data entry, and facilitating email outreach.
- Collaborate on the development of company background memos for internal staff use.
- Stay updated on industry news relevant to members and prospects, reporting noteworthy updates to the team.
- Monitor shared inboxes, promptly responding to external inquiries with helpful information.
- Maintain accurate member data in Salesforce/Fonteva, ensuring timely updates to company and contact information, as well as committee rosters.
- Organize and maintain internal membership team files and shared folders for easy accessibility.
- Provide assistance to internal staff regarding membership reporting inquiries.
- Support conference-related activities, including list review and managing meeting requests.
- Assist in calendar management and scheduling meetings with potential and existing members.
- Contribute to departmental budget management, including reconciling expenses, processing invoices, and assisting with forecasting.
- Provide support for the Board-level Membership Committee as needed, including scheduling, outreach, and meeting minutes.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1-2 years of professional experience; consideration given to advanced degrees or relevant internships.
- Background or experience in finance, business, or marketing preferred; familiarity with life science or biotech industries is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with association management system (AMS) and/or customer relationship management (CRM) software is beneficial.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive individual with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to building positive relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
