This company, which has been in the market for 125 years, is a global development and series supply partner for leading passenger and commercial vehicle manufacturers and their Tier-1 suppliers.
Specifically in the 'Simulation, Check and Test Systems for Commercial Vehicles' section, a capable team leader for the hardware department is being sought.
Responsibilities:
- Management of the hardware team (45 developers)
- Project responsibility for quality, cost and time factors
- Main responsibility for the development of multilayer boards 4 to 8 layers
- Requirements analysis and conception of digital and analog circuits
- Validation of EMCcompliant circuit diagrams and PCB layouts
- Further development and motivation of team culture, individual discussions, etc.
- Regular coordination with the mechanical and software departments, as well as purchasing
- Trustworthy collaboration with the head of development and management
Qualifications:
- Extensive professional experience in the field of hardware or board development
- Solid knowledge of microcontrollers, FPGAs and/or X86 circuits, etc.
- Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) desirable, but not mandatory
- Technical competence, analytical thinking, organized work style
- Leadership skills within a team, confident communication and awareness of values
- Enthusiasm, team spirit, friendly, warm and humorous personality
- Completed degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
