    Description
    TRL11 is a venture-backed startup bringing cutting-edge video technology to the new space economy.

    Based in Irvine, CA, we are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer with expertise in defining, integrating, and validating electronics and avionics.

    The systems engineer will be responsible for our video systems flying on upcoming missions. Join our team and play a crucial role in shaping the success of our space missions.

    Requirements

    Manage and coordinate design reviews throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure that designs meet all tehcnical requirements

    Create and update comprehensive engineering documentation for various spacecraft vehicles. Provide support to facilitate completion of projects and architectural designs

    Foster effective communication and collaboration between engineering and business teams, ensuring alignment of project goals and objectives

    Develop appropriate risk mitigation plans to retire risks

    Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to define clear requirements and verification plans


    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

    3+ years of engineering experience in an aerospace engineering discipline

    2+ years of experience in systems engineering and operations with a strong understanding of systems engineering principles


    Preferred Skills and Experience:
    General knowledge of spacecraft subsystems.

    Ability to lead a team of engineering professionals in solving challenging problems.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills, and good presentations skills

    Experience at early stage space startups

    Experience taking a product or project from ideation to deployent
