Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Physician Practice Operations to lead our team. This position plays a crucial role in overseeing daily Physician operations within Pediatrics, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Surgery and Medicine. Responsibilities
Develop and implement policy, procedures and strategies related to the physician practice operations.
Develop goal, plans and standards consistent with clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirement/objective of the organization.
Plan, organize and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
Prepare operational and departmental budgets and ensure compliance with allocated funding.
Coordinate and direct internal/external audits.
Direct and evaluate practice activities to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Requirements
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor'sdegree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those yearsbeing in leadership/management.
Master's degree preferred.
Proficiency in people management and strategic planning.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong background in healthcare operations.
Proficiency in Google Drive applications such as Docs, Sheets, and Slides is preferred.
