- Assist the Teacher with instructional planning and implementation, keeping records, setting up activities, and any other duties deemed necessary by the teacher.
- Support implementation of the behavior modification system and provide crisis prevention techniques within the classroom. Provide supervision whenever necessary.
- Fully perform restraints as necessary when ordered by a licensed professional using the current approved KidsPeace restraint methodology on youth who may weigh in excess of pounds and who are verbally or physically threatening or otherwise presenting a threat to themselves or others.
- High School Diploma Required.
- Pursuant of an Associate/Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
- Must be at least years of age.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to obtain SCM certification and CPR/First Aid certification during New Associate Orientation.
